In fact, about 4.4 million Latino-owned businesses in the U.S. contribute more than $700 billion to the economy annually, according to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2018. Additionally, Latinos have the highest entrepreneurship rates of any U.S. ethnic group.
That’s why, ahead of Hispanic Heritage Month this year, Squarespace HQ, in partnership with Somos (Squarespace’s employee resource group for Latinx) and The Latinx Collective, will welcome a panel of New York-based Latinx business owners across different industries to talk about what they are working on, how they got started, and how you can learn from their different skill sets when launching your own business or side hustle.
